Based on the strategy published on 3 May 2006, Elektrobit focuses on high-growth businesses, which are 3G smart phone reference design, IP radio base station modules and automotive software.
The high-growth businesses consist of three business units:
The development of the Network Test, System Test, and Production Solutions businesses continues in separate units. Mr. Jukka Honkila continues as head of the Network Test Business Unit and Mr. Hannu Hakalahti heads the System Test Business Unit. The Productions Solutions Business Unit will be headed by Mr. Lauri Rintanen starting from 1 September 2006.
Elektrobit's Web pages will be updated to reflect the new strategy as of 1 July 2006.

According to the new strategy, Elektrobit's business operations are divided into the following business units as of 1 June 2006:- Mobile Terminal Solutions
- Radio Network Solutions
- Automotive Software
- Network Test
- System Test
- Production Solutions
Based on the strategy published on 3 May 2006, Elektrobit focuses on high-growth businesses, which are 3G smart phone reference design, IP radio base station modules and automotive software.
The high-growth businesses consist of three business units:
- The Mobile Terminal Solutions Business Unit provides mobile terminal contract R&D services and 3G smart phone reference design products. The unit is headed by Mr. Arto Pietilä.
- The Radio Network Solutions Business Unit provides infrastructure-related contract R&D services and standard-based products to telecommunications OEM vendors. The unit is headed by Mr. Kauko Väinämö.
- Automotive Software Business Unit provides in-car software products and engineering services for the automotive industry. The Unit is headed by Mr. Johann Haas.
The development of the Network Test, System Test, and Production Solutions businesses continues in separate units.
